Camp Galileo’s mission is to help guide future innovators through “Only at Galileo” art, science, engineering, culinary, and design projects. Not to mention traditional summer camp favorites like songs, skits and water play! Camp Galileo started in the Bay Area but has since expanded to schools in Southern California’s Thousand Oaks and Woodland Hills.

Students in Camp Galileo are grouped by grade from pre-K to 8th grade. Older students (grades 5-8) choose “majors€ based on their interests (cooking or robotics, anyone?) and younger students choose from weekly camp themes that focus on art, science and outdoor activities. This year, weekly camp themes include Makers Workshop, Deep Ocean Explorers, Expedition Everest, National Park Adventure and Galileo Olympic Games! Students at Camp Carden get to explore new topics and hobbies in this small, private school-like camp that encourages students to create, engage and work together. With weekly camp themes like Nature and Animals, Science Exploration and Ninja Warrior, there’s something for everyone.
