What to Expect at Snapology Camps
Participant Abilities and Expectations
Children participating in our camp activities should possess the following abilities:
Must Be Able To:
- Work effectively within a group setting, demonstrating cooperation, teamwork, and collaboration in teams of 2–4 participants.
- Communicate well, including listening, following instructions, and responding to staff.
- Actively participate in hands-on activities, including building and other engaging experiences.
- Use the restroom independently. Diapers and pull-ups are not permitted.
- Apply sunscreen independently if brought.
- Eat their snack/lunch independently.
Must Not:
- Be a flight risk or attempt to leave the premises.
- Exhibit physical outbursts or fail to keep hands to themselves.
- Display verbal outbursts, make rude gestures, or use profane language.
Persistent challenges may lead to removal from camp. Refunds will not be issued in these cases.
Note: Robotics and Engineering camps may involve written/pictorial step-by-step instructions and peer collaboration.
Code of Conduct
General Rules:
- Be safe: No running, no climbing on furniture, and one person per restroom.
- Be respectful: Listen, follow directions, and use inside voices.
- Be kind: Take turns, share, encourage others, and use positive language.
- Participate in activities.
Serious Infractions (may result in expulsion without refund):
- Verbal abuse or threats toward staff or campers.
- Repeated rule violations or defiance.
- Throwing objects, overturning furniture, or violent behavior.
- Inappropriate touching or physical aggression.
- Leaving supervised areas.
Staff are not trained for one-on-one or behavioral support. The standard staff-to-camper ratio is 1:12.
What to Expect at Snapology Camps
Snapology camps are packed with hands-on activities, creative exploration, and plenty of fun! Here’s what your child can look forward to:
- LEGO® Building Activities: Engineering, robotics, and creative challenges using LEGO® bricks.
- Interactive Free Play: Access to Snapology’s STEAM stations for exploration and tinkering.
- Outdoor Adventures & Group Games: Active games and teamwork-based outdoor fun (weather permitting).
- Snack & Snacktivities: Engaging seated activities during snack time.
- Creative Crafts and Activities: Collaborative and theme-related projects and crafts.
- Lunch & Movie Time: Full-day campers enjoy lunch and a G-rated Disney+ movie, plus optional outdoor free play.
- Dynamic Learning Experiences: Structured and open-ended STEAM learning in a supportive environment.
Each day is carefully planned to keep kids engaged, active, and excited. It’s a fantastic opportunity to explore, learn, and make friends!
