Snapology of Harrisonburg runs hands-on STEAM summer camps packed with robotics, coding, animation, and imaginative building using LEGO® bricks, K’Nex®, and technology. Camps run across Harrisonburg City, Rockingham County, and surrounding areas.
Shhh… don’t tell them it’s educational. To your kids, it’s just the best week of summer.

Each week features a different theme, so kids can come back all summer and never repeat a project:
- 🤖 Robotics: building & programming robots with LEGO® WeDo® and SPIKE™ Prime kits
- ⚙️ Engineering: machines, contraptions & moving models with LEGO® Technic bricks & motors
- 💻 Coding: visual, drag-and-drop block coding to bring LEGO® robots to life
- 🎬 Stop-motion animation: writing, building, filming & editing original LEGO® movies
- 🏗️ Creative building: themed adventures like Jedi Masters, Pokémania & Minecraft-inspired worlds
Who Camps Are For
Summer camps are designed for children ages 4–14, grouped by age (typically 4-6, 5-12, and 8–14) so activities and challenges are a perfect fit. Whether your child is a first-time builder or a seasoned robotics and LEGO® fan, there’s a camp that meets them where they are.
What a Day at Camp Looks Like
- A warm welcome and drop-off with our camp team
- Instructor-led builds and themed STEAM challenges
- Teamwork projects that spark creativity and problem-solving
- Breaks for snacks and moving around
- Take-home Snapology swag and small creations on the last day of camp
- Plenty of laughs, new friends, and a proud “look what I made!” at pickup
Half-day, afternoon, and full-day options are available so you can build the schedule that works for your family.
What to Bring 🎒
✅ A refillable water bottle
✅ A packed lunch (full-day campers) plus a labeled snack
✅ Closed-toe shoes for active play
✅ A light jacket or sweater (classrooms can run cool)
✅ Sunscreen if their camp includes outdoor time
✅ Everything labeled with your child’s name
Please leave personal toys, LEGO® sets, and electronics at home, we’ve got everything they’ll need!
