WHAT IS THE AGE LIMIT FOR CAMPS?
Typical age for camp is 6yrs-12yrs.
However we will allow children up to 14 years of age to participate.
Please Note: Snapology camps are structured enrichment programs, not childcare services. All participants are expected to follow camp guidelines and instructor directions to ensure a safe and positive experience for everyone. If a child’s behavior becomes consistently disruptive or unsafe for other campers, Snapology reserves the right to dismiss the participant from the remainder of the camp session.
WHAT ARE CAMP HOURS?
Half-day morning: 9:00am – 12:00pm
Half-day afternoon: 1:00pm – 4:00pm
Full-day: 9:00am – 4:00pm
WHERE ARE YOUR CAMPS LOCATED?
Snapology indoor summer camps are offered at various locations in New Braunfels, Schertz and surrounding areas.
WHAT IF MY CHILD IS NOT FAMILIAR WITH CODING AND ROBOTICS?
Snapology is a great place to learn about coding and robotics. Campers will receive instruction relevant to their project prior to building with their partner. We use LEGO® robotics kits and provide students with step-by-step building instructions and programming sheets to support them in the building and coding process.
HOW MUCH IS A CAMP? IS THE PRICE FOR THE FULL WEEK?
Pricing varies by location due to fees and operating expenses associated with each location.
Half-day pricing: $179 per week-long camp
Full-day pricing: $299 per week-long camp
Typical summer camps are 5 days per week. At times, we may offer a shorter week due to holidays or other circumstances. All pricing is adjusted according to the number of days children will attend camp in those instances.
WHAT DOES A DAY AT CAMP LOOKS LIKE?
8:50am- Arrival for morning-only and full-day campers and free play with LEGO®
9:00am- First building project or activity for morning session
10:30am- Snack break
11:00am- Second building project or activity
12:00pm- Dismissal for morning-only campers/Lunch for full-day campers
12:50pm- Arrival for afternoon-only campers and free play with LEGO®
1:00pm- First building project or activity for afternoon session
2:30pm- Snack break
3:00pm- Second building project or activity
4:00pm- Dismissal
WHAT DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BRING?
Half-day campers should bring a water bottle and snack.
Full-day campers should bring a water bottle, 2 snacks, and a lunch that does not require refrigeration or warming.
WHAT IF SOMEONE ELSE NEEDS TO PICK UP MY CHILD?
Anyone picking children up from Snapology Camps must have their government issued ID and be listed as an authorized person on the account.
WHAT ARE THE CLASS SIZES?
Classes are up to 12 students per instructor and limited to around 24 campers.
