What Themes Can I Pick From?
Snapology themes are designed with kids in mind. We cover just about every major theme children love, from magical worlds and animal adventures to heroic quests, racing games, and building challenges. Whether your learners are into animation, fantasy, video games, or science fiction, we have something that sparks their imagination.
If there’s a favorite theme we don’t already offer, we can create a custom experience just for your group. Our programs are as flexible and creative as the kids who attend them!
Partner Location
If you’d like to set up a birthday party with our main partner, the Kennesaw Recreation Center, please reach out to Alois Johnson (ajohnson@kennesaw-ga.gov) directly and he can set you up. Alois can give you better direction on what time slots are available at the Rec Center. Snapology Birthday Party Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is your location?
A: We are a mobile STEAM class, so we come to you! We can book one of our partner locations (Oak Grove Community Room or Kennesaw Rec Center) depending upon availability, or if you have another location in mind (neighborhood clubhouse, church, but no personal homes) we can meet you there so long as it is within Woodstock, Acworth, or Kennesaw. Location must be indoors, have tables, and have chairs for each participant. You will be responsible for the booking/payment for any other location.
Q: Can we bring our own food/cake?
A: Absolutely! We do not provide food so you may bring whatever you like.
Q: Do you provide drinks?
A: Yes, we can provide mini waters and/or juice boxes for $.75 each or you can bring your own, just no open alcohol containers, please.
Q: Do you provide party products?
A: We can provide plain party products for an additional charge of $15. This includes napkins, paper plates, small paper cups, and plastic forks.
Q: How many children are we allowed to have?
A: All of our parties include 12 children (including the birthday child). If you have more than 12, we simply charge you that day an additional $10 for each additional guest.
Q: What if we have more than 20 guests?
A: If you have just a few more, that’s fine, they can squeeze in. If it’s a lot more, more than 25 children, then we will not have enough supplies.
Q: What is included in the goody bags?
A: Our gift bags contain a building kit that the children can take home to build, a Snapology branded mini figure that the children put together themselves, and a few various items at a price of $8 per child.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: If you cancel over 2 weeks out, you can get a refund of your deposit. If it’s within two weeks, you can get a credit to use for any of our upcoming programs and will never expire. If you book at any partner locations, their cancellation policy will supersede Snapology’s cancellation policy.
Q: Am I able to change the party date and how do I do that?
A: Yes! You need to call or email us and we can change the party date as long as we have availability.
Q: Can we have a party for two guests of honor?
A: Yes! You will just need to pay for the additional party t-shirt. One shirt is included in your party package and the second shirt is $10.
Q: What time can we arrive?
A: You can arrive about 10-15 minutes prior to the start of your party.
Q: When do you need the guest count?
A: We will follow up with you a few days prior to your party for your guest count and finalize any other details. We understand the number of guest can vary the day of the party so we can be flexible.
Q: Can guests take home what they build?
A: Unfortunately, because of the cost of the materials used they cannot, except for the spin art designs. But we do offer some take home gift bag options!
Q: What is the structure of the party?
A: All our parties are up to two hours long, regardless of which package you choose. Here is the basic breakdown of how the parties run:
Party Like a Preschooler Built for ages 3-5, the guests will have free play with our Duplo Lego bricks for the majority of the party. They will play 1-2 party games, sing Happy Birthday, and eat any food you provide. This wraps up the party.
Awesome Themed Party This is suitable for any age. The guests will have free play for the first 15-30 minutes of the party. They will then move into a theme-based build. The build can be around anything your child is into – Minecraft, Star Wars, LEGO® Best Friends Club, Frozen…you name it! They will all build something around that theme, such as a Star Wars Spaceship. Our instructors will guide them but will not tell them how to build it. It is not like a LEGO® kit that says, “now put your red brick here”. It’s very creative and imaginative. We want the children to build it however they envision it, so there is no right or wrong way to build it. They will take apart their build and clean up. After that, they will eat any food you bring, sing Happy Birthday, eat cake/cupcakes, and open presents. Then they have the rest of the time for free play. This wraps up the party.
Spin Art Party Ages 6+. The structure is exactly the same as the Theme Party but it is more structured with directions. They will create a spin art machine using an engineering kit to make fun, unique art that they can take home and show off to friends and family. You’ll be amazed by what your child can create in this fun, hands-on party.
Motor Mania Party Ages 6+. The structure is exactly the same as the Theme Party but it is more structured with directions. Your birthday star and their party guests will build an awesome amusement park ride (or other build of choice) using LEGO® bricks. Watch their eyes light up while they use their imagination and STEAM skills to design the ride of their dreams.
Slime Party Ages 6+. Allow your child to cultivate their love of science through hands-on experimentation with nontoxic chemistry! In this party, students will learn the basic science behind their favorite slimy polymer and how the magic is all in the ingredients. This is not your average slime workshop; your child will walk away from the Snapology Science Lab with clear knowledge about the chemistry behind slime and clean hands!
Epic Robotics Party Ages 6+. The structure is also exactly the same at the Themed Party but instead of the LEGO® build, they do a Robotics build varying from simple robotics for 6-year-olds to more advanced robotics for children 8+.
