Kids have been cooped in the house and needing something to engage them, summer camps are a true lifesaver. We know establishing new routines and adjusting to a new normal will be stressful. Lucky for you, we have put together a guide of some great summer camps in the Tifton area available for your children to help you start planning.
Snapology
Snapology’s curriculum is designed to build on the math, science and technology knowledge students have gained over the school year to keep them interested and engaged in STEAM year-round. Georgia Museum of Agriculture
Join the Georgia Museum of Agriculture this summer at Camp Wiregrass. If your child is interested in anything related to history, agriculture, or natural resources, Camp Wiregrass is the place for them! This camp is a great place to learn while having fun and make new friends. Camp themes include Young Scientists, Down on the Farm, Wilderness 101, and Out of the Blocks. Camps are organized by age level to ensure age-appropriate activities that are fun for the whole group.
Tift Gymnastics Academy
Get exercise and have fun with Tift Gymnastics Summer Camps! Camp themes include Skills Enhancement, Ninja/Parkour, Disney Gymnastics, and Red, White, & Blue. Instructors are highly qualified to ensure safety during all camps and programs. There is a program for everyone no matter the skill level. Whether your child is just learning or wants to improve their existing skills, Tift Gymnastics Academy is the place for them! The goal is to learn while having fun and building self confidence.
Tiftarea YMCA
Have a summer full of adventure with Tiftarea YMCA. Days with Tiftarea YMCA are filled with fun activities and new experiences. Campers will be able to go swimming, play games, participate in special events, and go on field trips. Instructors are well trained and are passionate about making this summer great for everyone at camp. Tiftarea YMCA plans to provide breakfast and lunch everyday along with healthy snacks, but kids are able to bring extra snacks.
Tifton Museum of Arts and Heritage
If your child loves art, they will love Kids in Art Camp at the Tifton Museum of Arts and heritage! Campers will spend the week with three local art teachers to learn about multiple different art mediums. Art mediums the kids will get to learn about include painting, drawing, papier mache, basket weaving, jewelry making, and more. Campers will have such a great time expressing themselves through art and making many masterpieces.
