Snapology has just opened up registration for their summer camp programs! For those of you who are unfamiliar with Snapology, this innovative company focuses on robotics and engineering skills through interactive play for your young ones. The thing that really sets this camp apart from other academic camps is that Snapology's main focus is on fun! There are tons of camps to choose from, and select camps offer discounts if booked before April 1!

The JCC consistently plans camp programs that are not only well thought out and well planned, but also safe in every aspect from staff qualifications to emergency management. The camps offer a perfect facility for your child’s summer camp experience, rain or shine. 17-acres include two softball fields, two soccer fields, two gaga pits, two playgrounds, a fire pit and a covered pavilion with picnic tables. The outdoor pool complex includes a nine-lane, 25-meter heated lap pool, a family pool with a diving well and the Seng Jewelers Wading Pool for our youngest swimmers. Camp’s indoor space includes two full-sized gymnasiums, auditorium with theatre stage, indoor child-friendly activity spaces, a heated indoor pool and a full dance studio.

These Musical Theatre camps are the perfect combination of a traditional camp experience with the added fun and excitement of singing, dancing and acting. Options include a Broadway Bound overnight camp for older kids and storybook day camp for the younger thespians.

In this theatre program, campers spend three weeks under the direction and attention of experienced instructor/directors on the production of a beloved classic. The Summer Academy gives kids the experience of rehearsing and performing a professional quality play complete with sets, costumes, lighting, & public audiences (performances take place the final Friday & Saturday). Novice & experienced young actors work together, learning to use their voices & bodies as tools for artistic expression.
The Summer Academy provides a strong foundation in theatre arts while developing concentration, self-reliance, and cooperation—in a fun, energetic environment filled with new friends.
Dates: Sessions of the 3-week Summer Academy begin June 3, 10, 24 and July 1, 8, 15 and 22 — each culminating in public performances.

If you’re hungry for a summer full of fun, learning, creativity and camaraderie, The Frazier’s Summer Camp will be your ticket. Their energetic and engaging summer camps are designed for 1st through 7th graders. Look for more information released in the spring.

At JA BizTown Camp, kids are in charge. BizTown is a 7,000 square foot mini metropolis where kids have jobs, receive paychecks and run their own businesses! JA BizTown is home to Kroger, UPS, Stock Yards Bank, LG&E, WDRB-TV and other regional corporations. By working in one of 16 JA BizTown shops, kids learn what it takes to run a successful business, manage a debit card and checking account, and work as a team.

Kentucky Country Day School’s Summer Stretch program offers more than 80 camps! Campers can choose from camps covering academics, enrichment, sports and the arts — all in a caring and nurturing environment that promotes healthy minds and bodies.

At KMAC's art camps, campers explore new techniques and materials while creating art projects to take home. Camps include: clay and sculpture, imagination art, outdoor studio and more.

Did someone say horse camp? The Louisville Equestrian Center camp program combines qualified staff, experienced horses and excellent facilities to create an atmosphere where campers can advance their horseback riding skills, expand their horsemanship knowledge and enjoy riding with friends. All campers participate in arts and crafts, barn games and other activities centered around the equestrian theme such as horse painting, pin the tail on the horse and scavenger hunts.

The zoo offers what is likely the wildest camp in town! All zoo camps include zoo walks, large animal presentations, attraction rides, and up close encounters with live animal ambassadors. Campers can enjoy a wide range of exciting camp topics for every grade level, every week of summer.

The Little Loomhouse offers six different summer camps, two for ages 12-16 and four for ages 6-12 focused on art, nature, textile and experimental textile processes.
