This program will immerse your learner in the world of Ninjago and challenge them to be the best they can be so they can one day be a Master Ninja. What students will learn:\r\n\r\nCreativity &amp; Critical Thinking: In this program, creativity is at the front and center of everything we do. Each activity encourages students to embrace their imagination and create familiar items with a unique, personalized twist. By using visual aids, holding creative classroom brainstorming sessions, and giving basic building parameters, students will be supported as they take creative risks and are guided when they aren\u2019t sure what to build next.\r\n\r\nHistory &amp; Culture: In this program, students will learn about Japanese architecture, art techniques, and folklore. They will also learn how to translate their name into Japanese. With each new activity and challenge, students will learn more about Japanese history and culture. Students will admire the unique history and cultural significance of ninjas while recognizing the complexity of their role in Japanese society.\r\n\r\nPresentation Skills: Many school-age students struggle when it comes to their presentation skills in the classroom. Snapology will help your child feel more comfortable presenting in front of a class by having the child explain their unique creations to their peers in an inviting, low-stakes way. Presenting their creations will help their confidence in front of a group of people and will translate into their everyday self-assurance in the classroom.\r\n\r\nBuilding a Stable Structure: Building a sturdy, reliable structure is a fundamental aspect of engineering. In this program, students will play around with different methods for creating a brick model that is both strong and functional. As they are given new building projects to complete, they will be positively encouraged to trust their engineering instincts and learn how to make adjustments if something doesn't work.\r\n\r\n\ud835\ude3c\ud835\ude41\ud835\ude4f\ud835\ude40\ud835\ude4d\ud835\ude49\ud835\ude4a\ud835\ude4a\ud835\ude49: In Snapology's Real World Robotics class, students interested in technology will create robotic models inspired by real life robotic technologies. Students will learn about gear ratio, sensors, simple machines, and programming as they build alarm devices, earthquake detectors, robotic arms, and much more. Your child will have a blast exploring the world of robotic technologies as they build, learn, and play. Students will learn:\r\n\r\n\u2022 Simple Machines: Students will learn about several simple machines throughout the class. Whether learning about pulleys while creating robotic arms, or wheels and axles as they create their very own pull robots, students will see simple machines in action. They will also begin to think critically about their surroundings and realize all the simple machines they use every day.\r\n\u2022 Axles, Gears, and Motors: Children will learn about the importance of axles, gears, and motors in mechanical movement. They will actively experiment with these components to create their robots, while facilitating a deeper understanding of mechanics.\r\n\u2022 Programming Skills: Each class, children will be given a program to operate their robotic build. Students are then encouraged to use critical thinking and programming skills to enhance their robot\u2019s\r\nprogram.
